THIS IS FOR THE MUSIC LOVERS
Dear Family
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to share with you the everlasting joy that being a music lover brings to my world. Music has always been a source of profound happiness and inspiration for me, and its impact is both universal and deeply personal. Music is a constant companion from the moment I wake up (& I finished tapping in with the most high 🤲🏾) and my feet touch the floor. It starts my day with a burst of energy, whether it’s an upbeat afrobeat that gets me dancing or a soothing classical from Nas's 1994 IIImatic album piece that gently eases me into the morning.
Throughout the day, music provides a soundtrack to my life, reflecting and amplifying my emotions, whether joyful, contemplative, or even sad. One of the greatest joys of being a music lover is discovering new artists and genres. There’s something magical in real life about hearing a song for the first time and feeling an instant connection. It’s like finding a new friend who understands a part of your soul you hadn’t realized needed understanding. It’s a form of expression that words alone cannot capture, allowing me to discover emotions and thoughts uniquely and powerfully.
Music is a constant source of comfort and joy in a world that can often be on B.S. type time and stressful. It has the power to uplift, heal, and inspire, and I am endlessly grateful for its presence in my World. Being a music lover is a gift I cherish daily, and I am always excited to share this passion with others. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts on the joy of being a music lover. I hope it resonates with you and perhaps even inspires you to reflect on music's role in your own life.
So my friend Please sit back and vide out with us. Up-and-coming artists and other artists who I feel need more spotlight will take flight with Pilot Language. Enjoy a quick review with smooth melodies.
Warm regards,
RA

Dom kENNEDY-Leanin
It is a fantastic feeling to see the new Dom K. If you want to know what type of energy Dom provides, think about Boss lingo: refreshing vibes from someone who stays true to self Dom Kennedy.
"I'm only gon' play for the win, I don't need many attеmptsShoot my shot, it's goin' in, new weave, new skimsBarry Sanders with the pen, give it to me, I can swim"
Dom Kennedy's Class of 95 (2024) showcases his signature West Coast vibe with an eclectic blend of trap, soul, and nostalgic Mobb-influenced production. Tracks like "Rich Kids" and "Leanin'" see Dom reflecting on his growth and success while maintaining his core values. The album covers themes of independence, staying grounded, and reflecting on his journey. Though the sound remains consistent, I appreciate hearing Dom in 2024. It's a solid offering for long-time fans, earning a respectable 5/5 rating from Pilot Language. ''In tough times, you bettеr apply pressure This for my niggas that be gеttin' to the cheddarThis for my niggas wearin' thousand dollar sweatersSave it for a rainy day, bad weather'' Enjoy Family!!!

Laila! - Flyer Than U
I can't change nobodyI choose love, everybodyI can't change nobodyBut I'll always, always, always, always be flyer than youYes, I will, I will
A rising 💫
Laila T. Yasin is the daughter of renowned artist and actor Mos Def (now known as Yasiin Bey). She has made a name for herself in the music industry as a singer. Her father's contributions to hip-hop are undoubtedly respected. Laila has carved her path, showcasing her vocal talents and passion for music. Despite her growing presence, she keeps a low profile, focusing more on her artistry than the spotlight. Her music reflects influences from her father's genre while embracing her unique style. Her music puts me in the mind of a pleasant journey. It brings fresh energy, which I appreciate. It's not the same story or something that seems like a quick buck; no, it provides time for celebrating and reflecting.
Laila!’s album Gap Year is a personal and welcoming project, reflecting her journey during self-discovery and growth. The title suggests a period where she took a step back to reflect on life, relationships, and her evolving identity as an artist. The album blends soulful melodies with R&B and indie influences, showcasing her vocal versatility and lyrical depth. Heartfelt storytelling. The project positions Laila as an emerging voice in the modern music scene.🎬

Wale - Ghetto Speak
One of the best to come out of the DMV!!! Wale dropped a three-piece this year, and I like it; I appreciate the vibes it provides. The title track is Ghetto Speak, Mission Statement, & Whats The Play. Max Julien & these three songs are part of Wale's re-emergence on Def Jam, signaling his return to addressing a raw, real-life quest through his music. Nike's DMV Foamposite commercial and kicking off his Blue Moon tour is great to see him back in motion.

The album features 18 tracks with guest appearances from artists like Freddie Gibbs, Ab-Soul, Lance Skiiiwalker, and Childish Major. So far, it’s his best project to date. This body of work complements ScHoolboy Q’s flow in the best fashion. For those who forgot or may not know, Q. ScHoolboy Q, born Quincy Matthew Hanley on October 26, 1986, in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a West Coast legend and songwriter. Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Q grew up surrounded by the realities of gang culture. Before pursuing music, Q attended various colleges, including Los Angeles City College and West Los Angeles College.
In 2009, ScHoolboy Q signed with Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), joining the label alongside Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock to form the collective Black Hippy. His early projects, Setbacks (2011) and Habits & Contradictions (2012) gained him underground attention, but his 2014 album Oxymoron brought him mainstream success. The album, featuring hits like “Collard Greens” and “Man of the Year,” earned him a Grammy nomination and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Q followed up with Blank Face LP (2016), a critically acclaimed project blending gangsta rap with introspective themes. His style often shifts between gritty street tales and introspective lyrics about personal struggles, from his gang affiliations to dealing with depression. Known for his energetic live performances, ScHoolboy Q continues to push boundaries, blending his West Coast roots with golden rap elements.
It’s been years since his last album, CrasH Talk, in 2019, and Blue Lips was the antidote to his gift, storytelling, entertainment, and growth. He sat down in an interview and discussed how he has been working on Blue Lips since CrasH Talk was released. Thank you, brother, for pushing yourself to a significant body of work.

Brent Faiyaz-PIStachios
''With you she being guarded, with me, she gettin' naughtyRide it like a Harley, see them eyes gettin' starryLookin' like you want it, flick it, it last longer''
Chopped, Not Slopped!!! It wouldn't be Pilot Language if I didn't tap in with OG Ron C & D.J. Candlestick. It wouldn't be me if I didn't showcase H-town and say R.I.P. to D.J. Screw, for the one who doesn't fully understand the magic of Chopped up, not slopped up. It provides the Experience: The slowed-down tempo and altered beats create a distinct auditory experience that can make familiar songs feel entirely new. Now, I can listen to my favorite song more flexibly. Slowing down the tempo allows listeners to focus more on the lyrics and nuances of the performance, which can be particularly beneficial for appreciating the artistry of the rapper Or R&B artists. I enjoy it more when the R&B folks give it a try. I have a lot of respect for Brent Faiyaz. Pistachios is off his Bigger Than Life album. Real ones who know of his previous work will appreciate the consistency in quality and emotional depth, making “Pistachios” a standout track in his discography.
''Weather like minus 50 on my pinky (it's cold) It's like minus 80 on my lady (she froze)That's minor shit when you a major (you know)''
PG County has been applying pressure for a long time now. I remember hearing mixed reactions about the bigger-than-life album, but as a music lover, I appreciate his project. The Wasteland album was still in heavy demand in my household, but Bigger than Life was perfect timing. With tracks like Belong To You, Outside All Night, and Best Time. How could you look past his style of a unique blend of soulful melodies and raw, emotive storytelling? He is also part of the group Sonder, alongside producers Dpat and Atu. Enjoy!

I.falls-Gold On my teeth
Isaiah Falls-Gold On My Teeth Ft. Clicklack is perfect drop top music
''I don't know how you feel, but I feel somethin', babySomethin' in the air that's got me goin' crazy''
S/O to FL , Florida has another one. Gold On My Teeth is a heavy rotation in my life lately. The south still has something to say.
''I be duckin' heatBut cold in these seats, ayyPimp, pimp, pimp, pimpIt ain't no changin' me (Oh, oh)''
My only wish for this song is that it could be much longer, but as far as delivering high-energy entertainment, the summer hits nailed the job; if you don't like this song, I might have to question your music opinion and appetite. This fantastic song is off his 2024 album Drug's n' Lullabies. Isaiah Falls' album Drugs n' Lullabies is a 12-track project that showcases his unique blend of soulful R&B and vibrant storytelling. The album opens with "Meet Me By The Moon," setting a majestic tone that leads into tracks like "Gold On My Teeth," featuring ClicKlak(which is my favorite). This song, co-produced by Gabriel Blizman, has been praised for its rich production and emotional depth, earning a spot on Spotify's "New Music Friday" playlist. Each track is crafted to evoke strong emotional responses, with Isaiah's vocals
''Let's just fall in love, baby (Oh, oh, oh, oh)Let's just fall in love (Oh, oh, oh, oh)Hey (Oh, oh)Hey (Oh, oh)''
I don't know much about this brother, but I'm here to learn more. I believe longevity is in his future. Regarding R&B music, he has a flow in the style that complements the day and the times of our lives and real-life situations with genuine beats and melodies that will stay in your head forever. Keep winning, Isaiah. I see you, player.

c.shakur-too far close
Chase Shakur's Too Far Close is a journey. Off his It'll Be Fine album.
Sorry if I come across some type of wayI've been tryna get out of my waysKnow that it don't seem like I care, but you know I care
The song captures the delicate balance between yearning for closeness and grappling with emotional distance with its smooth, mellow beats and heartfelt lyrics. When I think about The lyrics of “Too Far Close” (if you ask me) explore themes of love, introspection, and the paradox of emotional distance versus intimacy. Lines like
“Wanna fall in love but you’re too far close” and
“I’m still tryna be enough and I know it
A critical pathway is expressing the internal conflict of the desiring connection while feeling a sense of inadequacy or hesitation. This division into two, simply war and love and peace and hate, is central to the song, resonating with anyone who has experienced the complexities of romantic relationships.
Took some time aside from my dogs, and I'm well awareBi**h, I'm from the block (East side shit)
Hit my line if you ever lonely in the night timeI be workin', puttin' work in on my endsOn my endsChase Shakur is an emerging artist known for his soulful sound. His work of art often explores themes of love, emotional complexity, and self-reflection. Shakur paints a clear picture of romantic relationships and personal struggles. Atlanta got another one. Enjoy!

David Ea$t-DOIN GREAT
'When they talk about my name, know I define greatness (Define it)"
More 🔥🔥🔥!
David East's Doin Great is definitely a part of my morning routine! East's sincerity and genuine tone make the song feel like a conversation, one of the best ways to spit a song 🎶 I feel like he slept on, but his pen is putting him in position for higher levels.
Peep this line real quick , "I done watched loyalty disintegrate Blowin' in the wind, windows down on the interstate (Vroom)".
It's one thing to lie or stretch the truth about a lifestyle you think we want to hear, but it's a blessing tapping into real life. I have been having this album on repeat lately like...heavy. This album, for me, has no skips at all! Doin Great is track 2 off the album APT 6E, a collaborative project with Mike & Keys. The album, released in 2024, draws inspiration from Dave East's time living in apartment 6E at the Ravenswood Houses in Queens, where he recorded many of his early mixtapes and signed with Nas.
Who cannot relate to
"My energy protected, I've been burnin' sage Follow how you feelin', you won't be led astray (You won't) I said it and I meant it, don't know no other way (I don't)They ask me how I'm doin', I tell 'em I'm doin' great (I'm doin' great) 'Cause if I really wasn't, could you help me?"
And the video is a Gift as well very much vibrant and engaging visual that complements the track's righteous message. Directed with a keen eye for capturing the essence of celebration and resilience, the video follows East through various scenes that highlight his journey and achievements. The visual narrative is filled with dynamic shots that underscore the song's themes of success and overcoming setbacks.

Victoria MONET-Moment
Victoria Monét's song "Moment" is a fantastic track from her EP "Jaguar," released in 2020.
I was late to the party of the talented Victoria Monet. (I must admit) I always knew who she was but never....for whatever reason listen to her stunning voice and music but I decided to listen to her recently. I am invested at this moment and also tomorrow. She's top tier, and her title as the best-kept secret is old news. This song, Moment, is unique.
"So let me take away your pain, give me all of your emotions."
I like this line a lot.
I remember hearing this song for the first time. If you ask me, one of the best things for humans is to share life, emotions, time & knowledge with others. Having a backbone outside of your bones is power. Now, true indeed, we will all leave this place by ourselves, but with the moments we have today....why not paint a beautiful portrait?
"Land it like a plane on my back if you can't hold it
Life is but a dream that you manifested so fuck a fantasy this your motherfuckin' moment" 😩☺️🥳
The music video for Victoria Monét's "Moment" is a visually stunning and sensual experience that complements the song's themes intimacy and living in the present. Directed by Child, the video features Monét in various dreamlike settings, each designed to enhance the song's ethereal and seductive vibe. The use of slow-motion and close-up shots accentuates the intimate and personal nature of the song.
One of the critical elements of the video is its use of color and light to create a dreamy atmosphere. The transitions between different scenes are top tier (chief kisses), giving the impression of moving through different moments. This visual storytelling aligns with the song's message of cherishing each other. Thank you, Victoria and Child, for enhancing the listener's experience of the track.
''Life is but a dreamHere we are inside of it, and you're inside of meUntil you actually fall asleepFinally you can add this moment to your memoryOoh''
